Pel-State, a leader in the petroleum distribution industry, is looking to add an experienced Operations Terminal Manager to our Shreveport - Home Office Terminal.

The Terminal Manager is responsible for managing all Operational, Safety, Administrative, Dispatch, and DOT Regulation functions and requirements on Pel-State's Louisiana Yard, ensuring best practices in OSHA, EPA, DOT, and customer required compliance. The Terminal Manager will also establish and develop a culture of accountability for individual actions and promote a self-directed work force to meet the needs of both Frac and Route Customers in the Louisiana region. Must establish, execute, and deliver job-specific and department specific expectations that are in line PSS's overall objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Scheduling & Deploying of Route Crews and dispatching delivery drivers.
+ Follow company procedures to train, certify & manage Route delivery drivers.
+ Ensure Safety and DOT compliance with OSHA & FMCSA regulations by developing, and carrying out standardized policies and procedures across all departments.
+ Establish relationships with internal and external customers and maintain daily contact.
+ Provide daily/weekly terminal performance report metrics.
+ Insure that drivers follow federal, state and local regulations including Hours of Service.
+ Enforce culture of safety in all daily activities.
+ Coordinate with Human Resources department on personnel issues including hires and terminations.
+ Management of or involvement in a variety of programs and information systems, including Pel State's DOT, HSE, Maintenance and Fleet management programs.
+ Review and update the Terminal's security plan annually.
+ Develop expense and capital budgets needed to support the LA Terminal.
+ Lead incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification & carry through of corrective action plans.
+ Work closely with employees in an on-going effort to develop a proactive culture.
+ Lead & participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives as it relates to operations of routes, frac fueling, and maintenance.
+ Spearhead continuous improvement practices at all levels of the organization to guide the company into a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Implement key performance metrics designed to support and manage the LA terminal.
+ Motivate and mentor company personnel to develop understanding and self-sufficiency in safety, DOT regulations, and preventative maintenance as it relates to all aspects of Pel-State.
+ Work collaboratively with other Operation Managers and the Director of Operations to drive company initiatives to improve productivity and efficiencies.
+ Inventory control of both fuel and lines completed daily. 
+ Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Management, Business or related field preferred.
+ Three or more years of work experience in Related Field. (Logistics, Dispatch, Frac Supervision).
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
+ Oil and Gas experience is preferred in Frac and/or Fuel Delivery Management.
+ Knowledge of above ground storage tank and underground storage tank systems and compliance management.
+ Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) fluency is preferred.
+ Experience in Hydraulic Fracturing.

 The ideal candidate should have one or more of the following transportation certifications:
+ Certified Director of Safety.
+ Certified Safety Supervisor.
+ Certified Driver Trainer.

Work Environment:
While you will be working indoors in a terminal atmosphere, you will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise or similar elements most of the workday. You must work a schedule that supports a 24 hour a day terminal, including nights, weekends and holidays as well as long and/or irregular hours.

FLSA Status:
This position is considered an exempt position and is not eligible for over time.
